New Chairman Appointed

Retired Court of Appeal Judge W. A. Kaluarachchi has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Management Board. This appointment was made by the President in accordance with Sections 42(3)(b) and 43(1) of the Victim and Witness Protection Act No. 10 of 2023.

Awareness and sensitization programme for the Crime and Minor Offence OICs of police stations in Southern Province (62 police stations of 124 officers) on 12th May 2021. This was postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic situation of the country as per the health guideline issued by the Ministry of Health.
