Awareness and sensitization programme for the Crime and Minor Offence OICs of police stations in Southern Province (62 police stations of 124 officers) on 12th May 2021. This was postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic situation of the country as per the health guideline issued by the Ministry of Health.
An awareness and sensitization programmes for the DIG, OIC Divisions and Directors (CCD, CID, etc)-Western Province (35 Police Officers) in close collaboration with the Department of Sri Lanka Police has been organized by the National Authority. It is scheduled to be held on 17th March 2021 at DIG Office Auditorium, Olcott Mawatha, Colombo. The theme of the programme is “Importance of Victim and Witness Protection for Successful Prosecution- Police Intervention”. Honourable minister of Justice Mr.Ali Sabry, President Counsel, will be participated as chief guest for the inauguration of the programme. Technical sessions followed by the inauguration will be done by the eminent speakers of the subject area.
