Finance

Finance division of the authority is responsible of acquiring funds, managing funds within the organization and planning the expenditure of funds on various assets. Finance division ensures efficient financial management and financial control important to support all activities towards the achievement of organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying the organization’s funding position, further funding requirement, costs and sources of funds, option for investment and management of investment portfolio
  • Liaison with Finance Ministry for monthly recurrent and capital requirement
  • Preparation of briefing papers for management and Board of Management
  • Review of Trial Balance, Preparation and Review of other government financial returns
  • Dealing with the organization’s customers, suppliers, external advisors, auditors, bankers and investors
  • Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in conjunctions with top management
  • Involvement in the design, development and implementation of new financial and management information systems and procedures
  • Preparation and submission of financial statements
